Big Pink Cake is a club in Bristol dedicated to playing classic and new indiepop, 60's girl groups, the poppier moments of punk, Motown and soul.

Big Pink Cake is an event with special guest djs from the indiepop world past and present. Our guest djs so far have included Johnny Brown (The Band of Holy Joy), Martin Whitehead (The Flatmates/The Subway Organisation), Rocker (The Flatmates/The Rosehips/Dandelion Radio), Gregory Webster (Razorcuts/Sportique), Clare Wadd (Sarah Records). This year we're also putting on indiepop bands and have some interesting ideas up our sleeves, to make 2008 a bit of an adventure! So keep your eyes peeled for all forth coming events.

Big Pink Cake recognizes how indiepop is forever changing and we love the sound of what's fresh and new. However, we also realize the importance of the past and want to celebrate all things pop that have shaped our todays and tomorrows.
