Dirt Kid Promotions was born out of the idea that there are very few people or places that cater for the very small and/or younger bands and artists in the South West. And we wanted to bridge the gap. The bands that can't get the shows because of age or lack of popularity. But without shows, how are you meant to grow a fanbase in the first place? A little catch 22 don't you think?

We offer a place for kids to come together, for half the price of most venues. See their favourite local artists, have a good night and get a chance to be exposed to bands they didn't even know existed. At the moment we hold monthly nights, stay grass roots and unlike others, don't rip the bands off.

If you or your band are interested in playing at a Dirt Kid show here's a few small, but important requirements:
*You must be 13+. We don't only hold nights for very young bands, but we're open and will play a band if they're 13 or 30 as long as you have a good sound.
*Passion. We will do everything we can to get your band exposure and get people excited about your music. But if you expect us to do all the running, you've got no chance. If you love your band, then we will too.
*No egos. No band is more important than another. Be respectable and you'll play with us again.
*Recordings. We understand that not all bands can get the money or euipment to record, so if you tell us when and where you're practicing we'll come down and check you out.
*Any genre. As long as you make it sound good and can pull 10 or more people, we'll give you a chance.
