Deadpunk Promotions are a Punk / Hardcore / Ska / Metal etc Promotions Outfit based in Bristol, UK. The outfit was formed by Matt Otridge and Dann Hignall in 2002 with the view to putting on the good quality Punk Rock shows and to help establish a positive "Scene" within the City. Over the last few years Deadpunk has grown and are now putting on bands from all over the World at different Venues accross Bristol. I (Matt) am now the only member of Deadpunk Promotions.

My attitude towards touring bands is that they are going to make the effort to travel down to Bristol and play then they deserve petrol money (and preferably a bit on top), some food and a good gig with bands that will complement their style and people who will appreciate what they are doing and will in turn buy Merchandise. However, it's not as easy as putting on every band who get in touch as there is not as much interest in Bristol for unknown, out of town bands as I would like. I am therefore very strict with the bands that I book, and even if a band has toured with X, played at Y festival and has a deal with Z Records, it doesn't necessarily mean I'll book the band.
